La Donna Cannone

A Italian song sang by Francesco De Gregori.
One of my Italian friend sent it to me, said that it was a very old song.
I have the Italian and English version lyrics, so just scroll down and take a look at it =)

E senza fame senza sete e senza ali senza rete voleremo via.
E senza fame senza sete e senza aria senza rete voleremo via.

English Version

One day I'll shove this huge heart of mine into the stars, I promise that I will
And beyond the blue of the circus tent into the wild blue I'll fly.
When the huge cannonball woman will turn into gold and silver
without passing through the station she'll get on the last train.

In spite of all the harmful and proud people my name will be bright
and the day will hold on at the gates of the night
while the paying people will clap their hands
and out of the cannonhole a song will spread.

And with my hands, my love, your hands I'll hold
and saying no words into my heart I'll carry you.
And I'll have no fear if i'll not be lovely as you'd like
but we'll soar up in the sky, flesh and blood, and we'll not return.
And with no hunger, no thirst, and with no wings, no safety net, we will fly away.

This is how the huge cannonball woman, that gigantic mystery flew,
alone glided into the dark sky
All the people closed their eyes, in the exact moment she disappeard
Many more went on swearing that they were not there.

And with my hands, my love, your hands I'll hold
and saying no words into my heart I'll carry you.
And I'll have no fear if i'll not be lovely as you'd say
but we'll soar up in the sky, flesh and blood, and we'll not return.
And with no hunger, no thirst, and with no wings, no safety net, we will fly away.

Drax & Scott Mac - Must Have Been A Dream(Original Mix)

I love this song so much, I love the tunes, I love the vocal, I love the lyrics and I have been repeating playing this song in my car...gosh XD

Breathe, a trace of your lips
I'm tastin' the air, tryin' to find you
Lost, a moment so rare
Not to despair, I will find you

I fall, lighter than rain
Down with my tears, heaven sent you
Fall, into the night
Into my arms, I desire you

And my mind just won't let go
I feel I'm slowly driftin'
You have summoned me
With your wings, they stop me falling

And it must have been a dream
Oh it must have been an angel
And it must have been a dream
(dream, a dream, a dream, a dream...)
Oh it must have been an angel
(angel...)

As you touch me in the night
I feel I'm slowly drifting
You have stolen me
Left me away into the clouds that drift inside

And it must have been a dream
(and it must have been a dream, a dream, a dream)
Oh it must have been an angel
And it must have been a dream, a dream, a dream
(dream, a dream, a dream, a dream...)
Oh it must have been an angel...

Nothing much

Lately I'm very into these two trance songs =.=
I like the last sentence in "change your mind", nice way of presenting your feelings to the one you know that it is impossible to reach him or her :P
sings: When you change your mind, You know where to find me XD

Lyrics:

When you kiss me
It feels so real
Then the daylight comes
Off you run and I don`t know how to feel

There`s a fire
Underneath your skin
But it`s getting old, out here in the cold
`Cause you won`t let me in

When you hold me
I can hear your heart
Beating loud and clear
Without fear
But you chose a moment that we part

You and I could fly
Baby, we could be so high if you just let go
But you`re too busy keeping two feet on the ground
And keeping one hand on the door

When you change your mind
You know where to find me
When you change your mind, baby
You know where to find me

You and I could fly
Baby, we could be so high if you just let go
But you`re too busy keeping two feet on the ground
And keeping one hand on the door

When you change your mind (it feels so real)
You know where to find me
When you change your mind (when you kiss me, baby)
You know where to find me

When you change your mind
You know where to find me
When you change your mind, baby
You know where to fïnd me

The second one is "Walk Away", I love the way the singer sings as well as the lyrics ;)

Lyrics:

With the night behind you
You walk away, and I will find you
We are locked in this emotion
We will find the way home

And it’s too late
To regret the mistakes we made
Easier to walk away
And it’s too late
To remember all the words we say
Nothing will ever be the same

When the world surrounds you
You take your place with me, behind you
These are every word unspoken
This is our way home

And it’s too late
To regret the mistakes we made
Easier to walk away
When the world surrounds you
You walk away…

And it’s too late
To regret the mistakes we made
Easier to walk away
And it’s too late
[To remember] all the words we say
Nothing will ever be the same

And it’s too late
To regret the mistakes we made
Easier to walk away
You walk away…

Btw these two songs are from ASOT 2009 :P

Please do give comments ;)

DJ ATB

Hmmm...DJ ATB a German DJ ranked #25 in the the DJ MAG annual vote 2008. Born in year 1973, February 26 (36 years old). One of my favorites DJ too but Armin is always number one for me :P

I love his "Ecstasy","Let You Go", "The Autum Leaves" and "I dont wanna stop"

So lets listen to those songs. His "Ecstasy" and "let you go" live concert is so cool and high up and I love the color of the laser lights, wish I could be in one (not one, I mean as much as possible :P) of these concert one day :P

A handsome guy huh? too bad, he's married XD
He dedicated the song "A Dream About You" to his wife

So his latest album "Future Memories" has released on 5th May 2009 and singles "what about us" from the album

=)

The issue that I've always having headache with it...

Maybe its too early for me to think about it, but it is still an issue for me in the near future...

I've found one article which is about studying master degree, because some people suggested me to complete all my studies first before entering the work force and some told me that master degree aren't easy to study without any working experience =,(

So this article explains all the details...

Should you do a pre-experience business master’s degree?

Once upon a time, a high school diploma (or similar non-higher education qualification) was a sufficient credential/qualification to get a good executive job. Then, as more and more people went to university, a high school diploma was no longer enough to land an executive position. A university degree sufficed for a time, but as more and more people get master’s degrees, even a university degree no longer suffices in most instances.

This ‘degree creep’ has been matched by the recognition that new employees (let alone managers) now have far more demands placed upon them than in the past. It is no longer enough just to show up willing to work hard or to be trained. Instead, it is necessary from day one to show some substantial business or technical skill along with general skills, such as the ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of colleagues, manage projects, and so on.

As a result, many people about to graduate from university, or having just graduated, face the decision of whether or not to pursue a business master’s degree immediately. Some will opt to do so; others will pursue an MBA later on, instead.

Growing popularity of pre-experience business master’s degrees
Given the obvious value of a business master’s degree, it is unsurprising that more master’s programmes continue to be developed. In past decades, the number of MBA programmes greatly increased. In recent years, the growth has been in pre-experience business master’s programmes. (For a description of the types of programmes available, consult the Postgraduate Business Programmes section.)

The employer perspective
The employer demand for business master’s graduates is easily explained. Organisations are reluctant to hire those without substantial training because:
• The flattening of companies and other organisations has meant that there are fewer mid-level supervisors available to oversee new employees’ work, thereby requiring that these employees be able to handle their jobs right from the start.
• The growth of knowledge organisations, and the growth of knowledge jobs within all sorts or organisations, places a premium upon having skilled performers capable of doing sophisticated work.
• Greater performance pressure on organisations of all types means that they are reluctant to devote the time necessary to develop an inexperienced, untutored performer.
• They recognise that youngsters tend to hop jobs quickly, so training them is likely to benefit some other organisation instead.
• Those with training have already signalled their interest in the field, and are less likely to change jobs on a whim.

Thus, there is a greater need for knowledgeable performers. People with a second degree (especially from a different institution than they attended for their first degree) are recognisably more mature and better able to fit into a business environment than those with only a bachelor’s degree.

The candidate’s perspective
Prospective business master’s students may have any of a number of reasons for pursuing a degree right after finishing their bachelor’s studies:
• A business master’s degree offers a way to convert a liberal arts degree into a commercially viable future. Some people, for instance, don’t figure out they will be unemployable until after they have finished their sociology bachelor’s degree. Similarly, some people don’t know what career they want to pursue when they are at university, but figure they’d better plough ahead and get some sort of degree rather than leaving university.
• Some who did a generalist business degree at university may have discovered along the way what field they want to specialise in – and a master’s degree gives them the opportunity to do so.
• Others, who specialised in one business field, might want to switch to another.
• Some people use a generalist business master’s degree (especially in management) as a means to explore their future (further).
• For some, this is a way to upgrade their credentials/qualifications, if their first degree was not first rate, by attending a more famous university.
• Others use it as way to gain entrée to a new country (by learning the language and making useful connections there).

Pre-experience business master’s degree versus MBA
So getting a business master’s degree is likely to make sense for a lot of people. The question remains, though, whether a pre-experience degree – done more or less immediately after a bachelor’s degree – is a better option than an MBA. You might say, why not get the best of both worlds by doing an MBA right after your bachelor’s degree? In fact, it is difficult to get into an MBA course straight from university. Many MBA programmes require at least several years of experience (and the Association of MBAs, one of the main international accrediting organisations, will not accredit an MBA programme that accepts candidates without experience). In some locations, including the US, the best programmes will accept only a relative handful of young graduates. Those that are accepted must demonstrate strong undergraduate performance, high GMAT scores, good internships and/or work experience, and the personal confidence to allow them to perform well in a classroom filled with experienced people (with disdain for inexperienced youngsters). It is usually the lesser MBA programmes that are open to those without real experience.

Thus, for most graduates the choice is between a pre-experience business master’s now and an MBA in several years (or more).

Factors arguing for doing a pre-experience business master’s degree

• You cannot get a good job with your current credentials/qualifications.
• You can, however, identify the subject you’d like to study (marketing rather than general management, for instance).
• You have the financial wherewithal to tackle a suitable degree now (or can qualify for financial aid).
• The field you intend to enter won’t require substantial additional education later. (In some fields, and for some employers, nothing substitutes for an MBA.)
• You can get into an appropriate quality degree programme now – one that provides entrée to the field and position you seek.
• You are ready to make the most of a degree course now. For instance, you have the prerequisite coursework (and internship or part-time work experience) to benefit maximally. Without this, you may want to delay entry slightly – rather than wait to do an MBA – and undertake the coursework or internship.
• Your personal situation is better suited to doing a degree now rather than later. For instance, your husband or fiancé is going to do his military service for a year in a location that has a fine university, with an appropriate pre-experience business master’s degree, but limited employment opportunities for you.
• The economy is currently depressed, so you’d prefer to be trying the job market a year or two from now.
• In some fields, such as securities trading, youth is so highly valued that you might be better off getting into it as soon as possible.
• You have an idea for a business you’d like to start, but you need the additional skills you can gain from a pre-experience master’s programme to do so.
• You may do a PhD or DBA later on. Exploring the academic side of the field is probably best done sooner rather than later.

Factors arguing for waiting and doing an MBA later
• You can get a good job now without a master’s degree. (For ‘good job’, read one in which you will be able to work in your chosen field, learn a lot, work for a good boss, and enjoy the experience.)
• Your work experience in the next few years will position you either to do without an MBA or to gain admission to a good MBA programme later.
• In the next few years, you will be able to explore various positions and/or fields to determine which ones fit you best.
• Your employer is likely to subsidise your pursuit of an MBA later on.
• You will work in a location where you could readily do a part-time MBA degree (while continuing to work).
• You want to explore one field without committing to it yet. (You could change fields via an MBA later on.)
• You have a chance to make money or gain experience now that may disappear soon. For instance, a would-be commercial real estate broker/estate agent during the early to mid-2000s may have had an opportunity to cash in on the real estate/property boom, but would have faced a much less attractive market several years later.

Employment results of pre-experience business master’s programmes
Getting a business master’s degree represents a substantial investment of money, as well as time and effort. The tuition fees for a one-year programme may be £20,000 or even considerably more; with living expenses, books, travel, and other costs added in, the total may approach £40,000. A two-year programme may nearly double this.

Is a master’s degree worth this large sum? Although not everyone will be substantially wealthier as a result of completing such a degree, those attending the better programmes are highly likely to be much better off financially. In fact, few who attend a top programme end up regretting the experience.

The payoff is partly a matter of increased earnings. (As a rough rule of thumb, figure that a solid master’s programme will net graduates salaries at least 25–50% higher than those with bachelor’s degrees in the same field.) It is also a matter of increased career options, increased confidence that one can do a given job well, increased security (relatively few master’s graduates face unemployment), and increased status. In addition, most people feel they lived life more intensely in their business programme, met very interesting people, and formed close friendships there. It is therefore probably a mistake to view the decision to get a business master’s degree on a purely financial basis, despite the sums involved.

So this is what I'm headache of, yes I have a one year limited financial support to go overseas to study. So its either doing degree 2+1 and work one year or more than that (to find money for continuing master degree) in oversea and pursue to master degree or doing degree 3+0 then straightly go overseas for master degree. =.=

Michael Buble

LOL, wow, I guess today's blog gonna be with the name "Michael" =.=

(Michael Mcintyre & Michael Buble) zzzz

Anyway, just now I was watching Michael Buble's concert held in Madison Square Garden. Actually I've listened to his song since year 2005 and never thought that he is really so good. After I've watched his concert, omg, I've found that he is such a sexy guy and he has good voice.

Michael Buble, 34 (born in 9th September, his birthday is coming soon) is a Canadian singer and actor, he took italian citizenship in year 2005.

Well, I think his music is a nice choice for setting up the intoxication atmosphere in your room, especially when you want to seduce your partner, you could play those sexy music to get them on or while you want to waltz with your partner, it will be the perfect choice ;)
(Please don't think that I'm such a perverted person, I just want to share it with everybody and this is something about enjoying a relaxing lifestyle)

I think you guys have already known him, especially for one of his singles "home" (sing: let me go home, I'm just too far, from where you are, I wanna come home).

So try listen to these two songs below, "me and mrs. Jones" & "Home"

I think "me and ms. jones" is a perfect choice to set up the mood in your room as for "home" I think its pretty nice for waltz or when you're far away from your partner, it will be very romantic and touching. ;)

So guys, if you want more of it, just hit to artist gallery or any CD stores for it.
The one I bought is this one, MICHAEL BUBLE MEETS MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
it has one audio disc and one DVD for you to watch the concert ;)
RM 49.90 (if I'm not wrong)

Michael Mcintyre

My favorite British stand-up comedian. He uses real life experience in his act, he described in a BBC interview "I don't really do jokes, I just talk. I tend to laugh at them myself because I find them funny. I don't do gags, just observational comedy. I just collect all these stories and try them out" and you will notice that while he smiles he looks like chinese and I think he admitted it too XD

So lets move on to the video, I hope you guys enjoy it ;)

Jeff Dunham

Jeff Dunham a American ventriloquist comedian.
He is the first comedian when I first watch stand-up comedy on YouTube.
It was somebody that introduce it to me and now I'm intoxicated by these comedies and currently spreading it to all that gets near me (so if you don't want to be infected by comedy decease better stay away from me XD). So my most favorite puppet is Achmed the dead terrorist, Peanut and Walter. Achmed is famous by the "silence, I kill you" quote, Peanut will always be paired with Jose Jalapeno (a green Mexican chilly) with his "on a stick" at almost every end of the sentence he spoke (you'll know what I mean if you watch the videos) and Walter will always complain about his wife on the show. XD

So I'll save my strength for typing about how good is Jeff Dunham, you'll know how good is he when you watch the videos, so lets enjoy the show now ;)

*(Maybe most of you have already watched before, but I still wish I could introduce to those who have never watch yet :P, so for those who never watch, I hope it is amusing for you =) )*

HardRock Teaser...

Guess what?

Penang's HardRock is opening on 19th September 2009.

Omg, I can't wait to have a taste of the environment (drooling).
Thinking back those years, I've always been there during childhood times(I was staying in KL that time), dad will always brought me there for lunch or dinner sometimes and I will always asking for balloons from the cafe. :P
KL's HardRock is in Concord Hotel, I remember there is a Michael Jackson's signature on the wall and a huge clock and you may see there are guitars all over the wall too. pretty cool huh?

So what will Penang HardRock looks like?

hmm...well I'm pretty lazy to upload any images instead of the hardrock logo XD (very sorry), maybe you guys can go to this link http://www.hardrockhotels.net/penang/ for full details. ;)

I Love My Dior Addict (and I think you will like it too)

Here is something to share with you ladies who want a sexy and moisture lips ;)

I've just bought it today in Gurney's Parkson and I love it so damn much after using it. I let my bff Hazel to have a try on it and she likes it too, of course she is planning to get herself one asap. XD

Lip gloss users must have known that some lip gloss like M.A.C's always will give you a sticky feel that makes you feel really uncomfortable and while you put it on, your lips aren't shine enough and not watering and excessing usage of lipstick will cause your lips to look dry and it will break until it bleeds and it hurts (I'm facing this kind of problem too).

So this is something that I think is nice and considerable to those would love to have sexy lips and at the same time preventing it from dry and breaking- The Dior Addict Lip Maximizer.

It provides you a plumping effect due to it's unique collagen-enriched formula that keeps your lips away from dryness as well as giving you a mint feel after applying it to your lips. It could be used as a complement to your make up or as an intensive treatment. For me I would use it as an intensive treatment though I don't use lipstick much.

The price is RM 88, maybe it's a lil expensive for some of us but I think it's worth to buy rather than buying those cheap ones that hardly can show the result that you're expecting.

As for where to get it, I think I don't have to mention it anymore and I think you know where. hehe...

Good Luck =)
